Coastland Pays $14.5M for Miami-Dade Apartment Site
After paying $14.5 million for 4.37 acres in Miami-Dade County, The S. Florida Business Journal reports Coastland Construction is planning to move ahead on a 366-unit apartment complex near Tropical Park.
Leal Capital sold the property, which now has 111,000 square feet of industrial space on it. The warehouse park is scheduled to be demolished to build the apartments.
In 2024 Coastland proposed a total of 780 apartments on both this property and a nearby site also owned by Leal Capital.
Coastal has three offices in Florida and has done projects such as Casamar in Pompano Beach (photo), Miami World Tower I, and Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale. The company has completed 60 hotels and built over 15,000 residential units.
