Coachella Shopping Center Trades to Private Investor

JLL brokered the sale of Coachella Plaza, an 84,820-square-foot shopping center located at 50249 Cesar Chavez St. in Coachella, to a private investor for $12,875,000. JLL’s Max Kinsbruner and Brian Quinn represented the seller, a private investor, as well as the buyer.

Coachella Plaza is shadow anchored by Cardenas Markets and features Planet Fitness, WSS, Absolute Dollar and Innercare among its tenant roster. It is located at the corner of Cesar Chavez Street and Avenue 50, one of the most heavily traveled intersections in Coachella with traffic counts exceeding 26,400 cars per day. The center was 100% occupied at the time of sale.

“We continue to see investor demand for well-located stabilized retail centers in growing markets in Southern California,” said Kinsbruner. “Coachella Plaza is the perfect fit for this investor with its strong tenant mix and high occupancy.”
