Firmspace, which offers co-working space for established professionals, has opened its first, and flagship location in Austin. The company, which is gearing its product toward lawyers, financial services firms and remote corporate executives, is also planning to expand in other cities, including Dallas, Miami, New York City, Salt Lake City and Washington DC. The immediate targets are Atlanta, Denver and Houston.

The flagship locale, at 500 W. 2nd St., offers private and secure executive suites; unlike the collaborative open office design of most co-working spots, Firmspace is providing soundproof offices, glass privacy walls and conference rooms. The Austin location also provides a fitness center, natural light and a fiber internet.

“Traditionally underserved niches like experienced professionals are finally finding their work home,” said Firmspace co-founder and chief development officer. “With demand already moving us to capacity, and fast, we anticipate rapid-fire growth across the nation in the near future.”
