Warehouse hybrid catching on in Raleigh

Co-Warehousing Catching On in Raleigh

The co-warehousing trend seems to be catching on. The Raleigh Business Journal reports Blue Co. Warehousing is building a third version of its warehousing concept. On the company’s website, Blue Co. says it is building out a scaled network of co-warehousing spaces for service-based companies, tradespeople, makers, food & beverage entrepreneurs, e-commerce professionals, and more.

Blue Cos. already has one 60,000-square-foot warehouse up and running and is looking at more in the Raleigh area. The first building is at 510 Pylon Drive, and the second is right across the street. The first is full, and the second, while still not open, is nearly full as well.

The warehouse is for companies that need less than 2,000 feet. The company will divide spaces as small as 100 square feet, which will give the tenant access to ramps and the loading dock to unload products.

Companies can rent monthly or sign on for a multi-year lease.
