Co-Developers Launch Build in Twin Cities’ I-394 Submarket

Ryan Companies and the Excelsior Group launched construction on 10 West End, a 343,000-square-foot, Class A speculative office building in St. Louis Park, MN. The project is going vertical four miles west of downtown Minneapolis, at the intersection of Highway 100 and Interstate 394.

Described as “The New Urban” on the property’s website, 10 West End will be the first new Class A construction in the Twin Cities’ I-394 submarket in nearly two decades.

“The West Metro office market and specifically the 394/100 submarket remain incredibly strong,” said Tony Barranco, SVP of real estate development with Ryan. “More space is needed to meet tenant demand, and we are incredibly excited to deliver 10 West End.”

The co-developers, who first proposed 10 West End in 2017, closed on construction financing earlier this month. Transwestern’s Mike Honsa is spearheading leasing efforts for the project, which is slated for completion in early 2021.
