CNA Begins Relocation to John Buck-Built Loop HQ

CNA has relocated its Chicago-branch employees to its new headquarters at 151 N. Franklin St., in the Loop. The Chicago-branch employees are among the first of what will be 1,700 CNA employees to set up shop at The John Buck Company’s 35-story office tower.

“We pride ourselves on being part of the communities where we live and work, while delivering our global offerings with a local touch,” said CNA SVP Steve Wachtel. “We are committed to continuing our work with local agents and brokers in the dynamic and robust Chicago economy from our new Loop office.”

Relocating to the new CNA Center at 151 N. Franklin will mean leaving the old CNA Center at 333 N. Wabash, which the commercial insurer has occupied since its 1972 opening. Known locally as “Big Red” for its distinctive red color, 333 N. Wabash traded to TJBC in a 2015 sale-leaseback.
