Clune Construction Tops Out Data Center Project in Northlake

Clune Construction recently marked a major milestone at the T5 Chicago III data center site in Northlake, Illinois.

The team celebrated the project’s official topping out, the placement of the final structural steel beam.
Leadership from Clune, along with members of the company’s Mission Critical group, joined field staff and trade partners on site to honor the milestone.

The Northlake facility, developed by T5 Data Centers, will span 250,000 square feet across three stories and deliver 36 megawatts of power to meet the growing demand for high-performance digital infrastructure. The project expands on more than a decade of partnership with T5.

Clune is serving as the general contractor for the full build. “This milestone represents more than just a construction achievement—it reflects the trust we’ve built with our client and the pride our people bring to the job every day,” said Brian Donahue, Managing Director at Clune Construction.
