Clear Opportunities Closes $35 Million Fund, Partners with Magnetar Capital

Clear Investment Group, a multifamily real estate investment firm, announced the close of its second round in Clear Opportunities Fund I (“the Fund”) with approximately $35 million in new member commitments, including a strategic partnership with Magnetar Capital, a leading alternative asset manager.

Launched in December 2022, the Fund seeks to maximize investor value through the stabilization of distressed workforce housing. To date, the Fund has raised approximately $50 million in equity commitments. Institutions and investors in due diligence are projected to bring the final closing AUM to over $100 million in the strategy.

“The current market continues to present opportunities with strong fundamentals; depressed pricing makes this a prime time to deploy capital,” CEO Amy M. Rubenstein said. “Leveraging our time-tested approach to asset management, our investment model demonstrates resilience during downturns, enabling us to acquire deeply discounted assets without relying solely on economic appreciation.
