Todd Barthel has joined Clear Height Properties as chief financial officer

Clear Height Properties Brings in New CFO 

Clear Height Properties (CHP) has named 20-year veteran R. Todd Barthel its CFO. He will oversee CHP’s current portfolio of 42 properties, totaling approximately three million square feet.  

Before joining the CHP team, Barthel was the director of accounting for Expansive, a flex-office real estate investment and management firm in Chicago, where he was responsible for the firm’s quarterly investor reporting, as well as all aspects of its audit, tax and treasury responsibilities. 

Prior to Expansive, Barthel was chief accounting officer at Trilogy Real Estate Group, an award-winning national multifamily and commercial real estate group based in River North. There, he provided leadership in audit, tax, treasury, investor reporting and property accounting. 

He has previously worked at LaSalle Investment Management, Ernst & Young and RSM McGladrey.
