Clarion Picks Up Tampa Airport Logistics Center
New York-based Clarion Partners has acquired the newly constructed TIA Logistics Center for $48.95 million from a partnership made up of Scannell Properties and Legacy Development Partners. The building offers 245,000 square feet of Class A industrial space with 64 dock-high doors, two ramps on either side of the building, 245 car parking spaces and 58 trailer parking spaces. Fanatics is a tenant in the center.
The property is just north of Tampa International Airport’s Air Cargo entrance. The property is near hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls within a 10-mile radius.
The property, which Scannell Properties developed, was completed in August 2023. The company paid $4.8 million for the 20-acre site at Knox Street and Hoover Boulevard. Clarion has $76 billion in assets under management, including 1,500 properties in 79 markets.
