Civitas Senior Acquires Lexington Place for New HQ

Civitas Senior Living selected Fort Worth’s Upper West Side as the location for its permanent headquarters building. To that end, the senior housing developer and operator acquired Lexington Place, 930 W. First St., a 39,848-square-foot property from Klabzuba Properties/Family LP. The new owner is planning to occupy approximately 15,000 square feet of the building’s third and fourth floors, and will maintain the current tenant roster on floors one and two.

Civitas currently operates out of a suite at 777 Main in downtown Fort Worth. In locating space for its operations, the company examined potential sites in Tarrant and Johnson counties, including Alvarado, Burleson and Euless. Ultimately, company executives decided to remain in Fort Worth.

“We are a proud Fort Worth company, and we have loved the central location and convenience that 777 Main has provided,” said Civitas’ Wayne Powell. “We were thrilled to find the perfect building up the street.”
