Civilian Agency Moves to New Downtown San Diego Headquarters
Southern California marketing communications agency Civilian has relocated its more than 30 employees from its office in Liberty Station to its new headquarters at Twenty by Six in downtown San Diego. Twenty by Six, a 90,000-square-foot office and retail complex, is located at 451 A St.
“We wanted a space that supported our vision of teamwork, openness, and transparency,” Stacey Nelson Smith, Civilian founder and chief executive officer, said. “Our ground-floor space supports creativity with an open floor plan. The floor to ceiling sliding walls give us access to the outdoors, and plenty of indoor and outdoor meeting space for brainstorming, team building, and hosting our clients.”
Smith added that her company was also seeking office space that was LEED Certified and “shared our sustainability goals.”
Scott Schindler and Nicole Winter at JLL represented Civilian in the lease deal. Derek Hulse and Morgan Reno of Cushman and Wakefield represented the landlord, LeBeau Realty & Associates.
