Civil Contractor to Be First Industrial Tenant in 4,700-Acre Tehaleh MXU

C.C. Edwards Construction will be the first industrial tenant in Tehaleh, the 4,700-acre Brookfield Properties planned community in the Bonney Lake, WA area, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported. The Sumner-based civil contractor will relocate to a 33,000-square-foot space at Tehaleh Boulevard East and Cascadia Boulevard East after the building is finished in June.

“We are building our new headquarters to accommodate growth for the next 25 years,” C.C. Edwards, company founder and owner, said in a release. “We’ve been in business for more than 30 years and the Tehaleh location gives us room for expansion.”

The C.C. Edwards structure will be located in the community’s 112-acre Commerce Center, which is slated for light industrial, office and retail use. There are four other parcels zoned for light industrial nearby. The Commerce Center is part of 475 acres within Tehaleh slated for commercial development and employment.
