City Leases 276K-SF at 180 Maiden Lane
New York City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services has leased 276,000 square feet at 180 Maiden Lane, 1.2-million-square-foot office building in Lower Manhattan.
The big lease should fill the building, which only lists 264,000 square feet of vacancy, not including its new tenant.
The City’s Department of Investigation will occupy the space, filling nine floors of the 41-story building. The Department will move from five separate offices to consolidate its operations — becoming the largest tenant at 180 Maiden Lane.
Fried Frank acted as counsel to Downtown NYC Owner, LLC, a joint venture of MHP Real Estate Services and Clarion Partners, which bought the building in 2015.
