City Center Brownstone Receives HDRC Nod

Terramark Urban Homes received the nod of approval from the San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission to build City Center, San Antonio’s first brownstone project. The developer is planning to begin infrastructure work on the two-phase, 26-unit townhome development at Center and North Swiss Streets in the east side Dignowity neighborhood by the end of 2018.

The first phase will consist of four, three-story duplexes. The second phase is still being planned. The average unit size will be 1,670 square feet, with prices ranging from $350,000-$370,000.

Terramark’s John Cooley told the San Antonio Business Journal that units could start delivering as early as fall 2019. He added that, with downtown townhome projects averaging $450,000, City Center offers a more affordable option for those wanting to own and live close to downtown San Antonio.
