Cisterra’s Preserve at Torrey Highlands Secures Planning Commission Blessing
The San Diego Planning Commission approved Cisterra Development’s proposed Preserve at Torrey Highlands, a 400,000-square-foot office campus in North San Diego along the state Route 56 Tech Corridor. The plan calls for three office towers, a parking garage and a one-story central gathering space featuring a restaurant with a patio, a fitness center, an outdoor collaboration space and an amphitheater.
The 11-acre site near Rancho Penasquitos is situated in the Region’s Tech Connector. The Gensler-designed project is supported by infrastructure and amenities tenants demand, including both on-site and in the surrounding community.
Surrounded on three sides by a wildlife preserve, the site connects directly to a network of trails for hiking, walking and mountain biking, which extends the outdoor ambiance of the campus. Nearby development includes more than 17-acres retail, hospitality, restaurants, entertainment, fitness, groceries, housing and other services.
The developer still must secure final City Council approval for the project.
