CIM Sells 430K-SF Utah Retail Center
The Family Center at Riverdale, a 427,828-square-foot shopping center in Riverdale, UT, has traded hands for $48.2 million. The buyer was CCA Acquisition Company, while the seller was CIM. Riverdale is part of the Ogden-Clearfield market, located six miles from Ogden and 35 miles from downtown Salt Lake City.
The property is roughly 97% occupied by Target (165,550-sf), Sportsman’s Warehouse, Best Buy, Pier 1 Imports, Show Carnival, PetSmart, Dollar Tree, and Joann, among others. Built in phases from 1995 to 2008, the asset is situated on nearly 42 acres at 1083 West Riverdale Rd. at the confluence of Interstates 15 and 84, and along the busiest retail corridor in the area.
NKF’s Pete Bethea, Rob Ippolito, Glenn Rudy, Ben Brown and Brandon Goodman represented the seller. The buyer was self-represented.
Bethea says, “Capital was attracted to this asset as it is a best-in-class center with a strong credit profile and opportunities for growth.”
