CIM Group Signs Law Firm Munger, Tolles & Olson for L.A. HQ

Law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson has reportedly leased about 150,500 square feet at 2 Cal, a 52-story tower located at 350 S. Grand Ave., in the Bunker Hill area of downtown Los Angeles. The property is owned by CIM Group.

Munger, Tolles & Olson will occupy five floors, as well as part of a sixth floor. The law firm is expected to relocate its 375 local employees to its new headquarters in early 2017.

CIM Group purchased 2 Cal as part of a seven-building portfolio in early 2014. The property totals just under 1.4 million square feet of offices and 44,000 square feet of retail. CIM Group is currently expanding and renovating the asset.

2 Cal is ideally located, near such popular attractions as MOCA, the Music Center and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
