CIM Group Launches MF Development at Oakland’s Jack London Square

Los Angeles-based CIM Group commenced construction on an eight-story, residential development featuring 333 apartments and 2,400 square feet of ground floor retail at 40 Harrison Street in Oakland at Jack London Square. The project, which is expected to be completed at the end of 2020, is within the 12-acre entertainment and business destination on Oakland’s waterfront.

In March 2016, CIM acquired seven buildings at Jack London Square, including three office buildings totaling 243,000 square feet, three retail buildings encompassing 191,000 square feet, a parking structure and three land parcels including 40 Harrison Street. CIM’s efforts to revitalize the area includes bringing a complementary mix of uses and offerings.

40 Harrison Street will add to the vibrancy of the area’s shopping, dining, entertainment, and recreation options. Its architectural design will take full advantage of a waterfront location with a glass façade providing sweeping bay views, balconies, and landscaped courtyards.

Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
