CIM Group Divests Multi-Tenant Kearny Mesa Business Park

CBRE arranged the sale of Kearny Mesa West, a 210,871‑square‑foot, multi‑tenant industrial business park in San Diego. H.G. Fenton acquired the property for an undisclosed sum. CBRE’s Hunter Rowe, Joe Cesta, Eric Cox and Matt Carlson represented the seller, CIM Group.

Kearny Mesa West spans 14 acres and includes 16 standalone industrial buildings along Kearny Mesa’s Opportunity Road, Engineer Road and Ronson Road. The park was approaching 90% occupancy and had nearly 60 tenants at the time of sale.

“Central San Diego’s industrial market remains a top target for capital as leasing fundamentals continue to support near-term and long-term growth,” said Rowe. “Kearny Mesa West, with its diverse and long-standing tenant base, exemplifies what investors from across the spectrum are actively pursuing today.”

Cesta added, “We are seeing tremendous activity and bid depth across the Western U.S. for multi-tenant industrial parks, and Kearny Mesa West was no exception.”

The project includes flexible suite sizes, multiple grade‑level loading positions and convenient access to central San Diego.
