CIM Group Acquires Baltimore Office Building for $40M
CCIT II, a publicly-registered non-listed real estate investment trust sponsored by affiliates of CIM Group, has acquired a 132,207-square-foot office building in metro Baltimore for $39.1 million. Cris Abramson, Nicholas Signor and Ben McCarty of NKF represented CIM Group in the transaction. The seller was undisclosed.
Located at 40 Wight Ave. in Cockeysville, MD., the property is 18 miles north of downtown Baltimore. The building was constructed in 2017 and is LEED Gold certified. The office building is currently occupied by engineering firm JMT.
CCIT II focuses on office and industrial properties that are essential to the daily operations of businesses, including corporate or regional headquarters, regional distribution centers, and warehouses situated near major shipping and freight transport facilities.
