CIM Acquires LA Church Site, Plans Mixed-Use Development

CIM Group has acquired a 1.3-acre former West Angeles Church site at 3045 Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles. The parcel is entitled for a mixed-use development that will feature 168 apartment units, 17 of which will be affordable, plus 40,000-square-feet of ground floor retail.

The property is centrally located in the West Adams neighborhood, and was the former West Angeles Church of God in Christ, which is now vacant. The church is consolidating facilities at its expansive south campus location at Crenshaw and Exposition. CIM group and West Angeles Church have a long-standing relationship, and proceeds from the transaction support church programs and initiatives.

The property, located just north of West Jefferson Boulevard, provides easy access to the Metro E Line light rail station, is situated near the Interstate 10 Freeway, and just six miles from Downtown Los Angeles and 10 miles from the Santa Monica Pier.
