CIG Closes Real Estate Investment Fund with Over $83M in Capital Raised

Clear Investment Group (CIG), a multifamily real estate investment firm, announced the final close of Clear Opportunities Fund I with more than $83 million in capital raised. With a broad range of investors including strategic partnerships with a leading Chicago-based alternative asset manager, two prominent state pension funds, as well as several RIAs and family office investors, COF I is poised to close with a seasoned group of common unit holders.

Launched in December 2022, the Fund focuses on the stabilization of distressed workforce housing. “As we move forward, we are committed to leveraging this capital effectively to generate exemplary returns and drive value for our investors,” said Amy Rubenstein, CEO of Clear Investment Group.

COF I currently consists of three portfolios located in Louisiana, New York, and Ohio. CIG is also finalizing the acquisition of a property in Washington, D.C., with the seller having recently accepted CIG’s offer to purchase this asset for the Fund. The Fund also plans to expand its footprint in Ohio after signing a contract to acquire an additional portfolio in the market.
