CHP Acquires Winston-Salem Apartment Community for $6M+

Community Housing Partners (CHP) acquired Kensington Village, a 142-unit apartment property in Winston-Salem, NC for a sales price of $6.4 million. Located at 479 Louise Wilson Lane, the community was fully renovated in 2009.

Jennifer D. Stein of JDS Real Estate Services and Jeffrey Clousing of Affordable Housing Investment Brokerage Inc. represented seller, The Finch Group, in the transaction. The Finch Group had owned the property since 2005.

“Community Housing Partners is excited about the opportunity to serve the residents at Kensington Village Apartments and the greater Winston-Salem area,” said Kirsten Anderson, vice president of asset management at CHP. “We have a growing multifamily rental portfolio across six states in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, and Kensington Village will be a welcome addition to our North Carolina presence.”
