Choice Hotels Expands Cambria Brand to Milwaukee

Choice Hotels International’s upscale Cambria franchise has expanded to Milwaukee. The 132-key Cambria Hotel Milwaukee Downtown is the first location to open in Wisconsin’s largest city and the third in the state, joining properties in Appleton and Madison.

Representatives from Choice Hotels, developer Murphy Development Group, management company Concord Hospitality and local dignitaries attended the grand opening recently to commemorate the occasion. This milestone was marked with an Oktoberfest-themed event, a nod to the region’s history and Cambria’s signature local craft beer program.

“The official opening of Milwaukee’s first Cambria hotel underscores our commitment to bringing the brand and its little luxuries to even more of our guests’ favorite cities coast-to-coast,” said Janis Cannon, SVP, upscale brands, Choice Hotels.

The hotel is situated a short drive from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and near major national and regional corporations, including Harley-Davidson, Johnson Controls, GE Healthcare and MillerCoors.
