CHOC is Underway on Many Affordable Housing Efforts

Founded in 1984, the Community Housing Opportunities Corporation (CHOC) is a nonprofit affordable housing developer that creates and manages communities for individuals, families, seniors and those with special needs.

Already this year, the state awarded CHOC $21 million to build The Monarch Apartment Homes, a 60-unit affordable housing community located in Palm Springs. That complex, which has a total cost of $29 million, is that city’s first affordable housing development in 12 years.

It is one of many future and current affordable properties in the CHOC portfolio located in both Northern and Southern California.
