KoMiCo

Chip Supplier Opens $60M Mesa Plant

KoMiCo, a global leader in precision cleaning and advanced coatings for the semiconductor industry, opened its new state-of-the-art facility for cleaning, coating, and repair of advanced semiconductor equipment parts in Mesa, Arizona. The $60 million facility will initially create 50 jobs, with over 200 total new jobs created over the next several years.

The 125,000-square-foot facility includes multiple cleanrooms, a wide range of cutting edge equipment, and a robust suite of diagnostic tools. The Mesa facility marks KoMiCo’s third location in the U.S. and 10th location globally. 

This facility will be outfitted to provide services to current fabs and the fabs of the future, including EUV and <1nm tech nodes.

With sites in the U.S., South Korea, Singapore, China and Taiwan, KoMiCo is a strategic supplier to all of its customers, including the largest fab clusters in the world. KoMiCo’s major customers include Intel, Samsung Electronics and Micron.
