Chip Supplier Building Pflugerville Plant
Metal fabrication company EVS Metal broke ground on a 175,000-square-foot facility in Pflugerville’s One Thirty Business Park. The new manufacturing plant is expected to support the expanding semiconductor industry and create over 80 jobs.
The company will relocate from its original location in town, providing better access to transportation routes and improving EVS Metal’s distribution operations.
Community Impact reports the 14.5 acres where the facility will go was previously considered undevelopable, until the local government extended the roadway and utilities leading up to the business park.
EVS Metal is expected to open in its new facility in 2025.
On its website Pflugerville says it offers numerous incentives, including Triple Freeport Exemption, Texas Capital Fund, and Chapter 380 Financing. All these incentives are aimed toward businesses to stimulate the growth and expansion of the suburb. The town has 65,000 residents.
