Pentagon Technologies to open $50M plant in Mesa

Chip Cleaning Company Leaving CA for Mesa

Pentagon Technologies Group is investing $50 million in a new semiconductor equipment cleaning facility in Mesa that is expected to create 300 new jobs.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the California-based company says construction is underway on the 65,500-square-foot space, which will be the company’s largest precision cleaning facility with “cutting-edge technologies.”

The facility, which will be up and going in the fourth quarter, will be located in View 202, a phased industrial development near Ray and Ellsworth roads in southeast Mesa.

Pentagon’s Dave Christeson, “Our facility will have the capability to provide precision cleaning to industry leaders on the most advanced semiconductor tools in the industry. We are excited to provide so many new jobs in such an exciting industry to people in the Mesa area.”

Pentagon Technologies is a subsidiary of Kurita Water Industries, a Japanese materials supplier of advanced chamber cleaning equipment for semiconductor foundries.
