China Merchants Bank Extends Midtown Lease
China Merchants Bank New York Branch has extended a 15-year lease extension at 535 Madison Avenue in Midtown. Owned and managed by Park Tower Group, the bank will occupy 43,060 square feet of full-floor office space on multiple floors of the 37-story, LEED-EB Gold-certified office tower.
Cresa’s Michael Goldman, Barry Spagna, and Erik Sznip facilitated the lease on behalf of the tenant. CBRE represented the landlord Park Tower Group with a team led by Brian Gell and Laurence Briody.
“After thorough building tours of triple Class A space in the Midtown Plaza district, we collectively determined the best option was to extend their lease at 535 Madison Avenue. CMB really appreciated all the building has to offer, including superior tenant services, the efficiency of column-free floor plates, and a great location,” said Goldman.
