Freelancers Union has leased 4,413 square feet of headquarters space at Industry City in Brooklyn

Childrenswear Shopping Service Opts for Industry City Headquarters

The Collective Child, a member-based luxury personalized shopping service for children’s fashion, has joined the tenant roster at Industry City in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood. The company curates childrenswear collections from international designers and will use its 2,500-square-foot studio space as its corporate headquarters.

“Our company was founded in response to the need for a children’s clothing service that was convenient but also inspiring, and we wanted to achieve the same feel when looking for our new space, which is what we’ve found at Industry City,” said Collective Child founder Sandra Makarem.

Industry City was represented internally by Waverly Neer, leasing manager and Jeff Fein, SVP of leasing. The Collective Child was represented by Newmark’s Jonathan Franzel and Leo Kone.
