Childrens Clothing Companies find Midtown Space
April 10, 2017
Modestly-sized apparel companies can still find showroom and office space in Midtown Manhattan.
Eight tenants recently signed leases totaling 6,529 square feet of office space at the “Childrenswear Center,” 34 W. 33rd St., a 12-story building already home to companies like Bentex Group, Baby Fair, and Flowers by Zoe.
Built in 1908, the 158,200-square-foot building recently got new windows, hallways and elevators. The childrens clothing companies that signed include Curly Girls, which took 462 square feet of office and showroom space. Bit of Honey renewed for 1,065 square feet. A technology company, Information Systems Solutions & Services, also leased 1,019 square feet. Asking rents ranged from $55- to $60-per-square-foot.
Adams & Co. Real Estate represents both the tenants and the owner of 34 W. 33rd St., Arcade Building Associates.
