Chicken N Pickle to Open in Allen

No getting around the rapid growth of pickleball and Dallas may be at the epicenter of the phenomenon. Dallas suburb Farmers Branch will host the national championships later this summer.

Chicken N Pickle is capitalizing on the area’s interest in the sport. It will open its next Dallas-Fort Worth location in Allen. The company plans to spend $14.7 million on a restaurant to begin construction in September 2023 with slated completion in September 2024. An opening date was not disclosed.

The new Chicken N Pickle will span 43,000 square feet at Johnson Road and Quail Covey Road. The space is expected to include a two-story restaurant, a single-story pickleball court building, and outdoor pickleball courts.

The Dallas Business Journal reports Chicken N Pickle currently operates in Grand Prairie and Grapevine, making the Allen location the third overall in DFW.
