Chicago’s Office Users Want Flexible Spaces and Hours
What do Chicago’s office-using employees want? Eighty-eight percent of them want a flexible work environment, according to Capital One’s 2018 Work Environment Survey.
Other priorities include innovative design (82% of Chicago survey respondents), technological innovation (84%) and flexible schedules to go with the flexible spaces (79%). This year’s survey was conducted among 3,500 office professionals, including 500 each in Chicago, Dallas, New York City, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
“Professionals today have high expectations for their experience in the workplace, and what their employer provides for them,” said Stefanie Spurlin, VP, workplace solutions at Capital One. “The results of the 2018 Work Environment Survey clearly demonstrate the importance of design and flexibility to professionals across the country.
“By providing dynamic spaces to accommodate all kinds of work styles, companies can help facilitate the kind of collaboration and innovation that empowers employees to create breakthrough products and solutions for their customers.”
