Chicago SIOR Marks 9th Year of Trunk Scholarship Support
Members of the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) have donated 34 Trunk Scholarships to support the Ada S. McKinley College-Bound Trunk Scholarship program for 2019. Each trunk is valued at $500, for a total donation of $17,000.
Students receiving the Ada S. McKinley Trunk Scholarships are selected based on written essays describing how the Trunk Scholarship award would allow them to be suitably prepared to enter their first year of college. 2019 marks the ninth year of SIOR Chicago’s support of the initiative.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 13-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications.
Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
