  • JLL has hired Pedro Ravelo as the Account Executive to lead JLL’s Chicago Public Schools (CPS) facility management team. He brings deep industry knowledge and experience in integrated facilities management and operations across multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, manufacturing, data centers and critical environments.
  • Colliers has made several new hires in Rosemont. The firm welcomed Diana Perez, who rejoins Colliers as an industrial research director and will provide data-driven analysis, industry expertise, and consultative guidance to the industrial brokerage group. She most recently was the director of market research at Lee & Associates. Lucas Denney joins Colliers as a vice president with Colliers’ Industrial Advisory Group, working alongside industry veteran Jim Estus. An I-80 and I-55 specialist, he represents buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, delivering custom solutions to his vast client base. Zachary Ofner joins as an associate with the retail sales and leasing team, focusing on buyer and tenant representation.
  • Clear Height Properties has named Meredith Pond, PHR, SHRM-SCP as Director of Culture and Talent. In this role, Pond will continue to develop the value-driven, people-first culture at the firm. With nearly ten years in HR strategy and administration at Kaleidoscope, Pond will lead all strategic people-based initiatives, including performance management, training and coaching, employee recognition, and attracting and supporting an inclusive workforce.
  • Kiser Group has promoted Andy Friedman to the position of Senior Director. Friedman has a record of success in the real estate industry, with a comprehensive understanding of the Chicago multifamily market. His unique insights, strong client relationships, and expert negotiation skills have made him a trusted advisor to clients seeking to buy or sell multifamily properties.
  • Proper Title, a full-service title insurance agency serving the residential and commercial real estate industries, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Proper Title launched in 2013 with two offices in Chicago’s north suburbs – Northbrook and Libertyville. Since then, the title insurance agency has expanded to 14 closing offices spanning locations throughout metropolitan Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
  • Friedman Real Estate, a Detroit-based real estate services firm, has been awarded the property management and leasing for Omni Officentre, a two-building office complex containing a total of 294,401 square feet of space in Southfield, Michigan. Centrally located along the M-10 Service Drive, the property is ideally suited as a corporate HQ or technology center.
  • PACE Equity, a Milwuakee-based provider of PACE financing for development projects, along with decarbonization non-profit Phius, unveiled a new qualification option for lower rates through CIRRUS Low Carbon. Through the new partnership, commercial real estate projects that are certified as Phius CORE or Phius ZERO passive buildings are automatically eligible for the CIRRUS Low Carbon financing rate when approved for PACE Equity funding.
  • Entre Commercial Realty completed the lease of half of the new 24,762 square-foot multi-tenant facility located on 6.4 acres at 480 Miles Parkway in Bartlett, Illinois. The firm’s Cory Kay and Mike DeSerto represented the landlord. The tenant leased 12,381 square feet and additional trailer stalls within the facility, which was recently completed in September of 2023.
  • Cushman & Wakefield’s Jaclyn May, Paul Donovan and Tom DeSautel represented Fafinski Mark & Johnson, a Twin Cities law firm, in a 22,220-square-foot lease of office space at One Southwest Crossing in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jennifer Stumm will manage the new office build-out project. Eric Heltne of Avison Young represented landlord Eagle Ridge Partners.
