Nicholas & Associates, a construction management firm providing design/build and general contracting services for projects in the recreation, education, municipal and mixed-use sectors, held dual groundbreaking ceremonies to mark the start of construction of two new junior high schools in Joliet, Ill.

Marquette Bank, Chicagoland’s Neighborhood Bank, welcomes Richard Nichols as Vice President of Commercial Banking. Richard brings nearly 25 years of commercial business banking experience to Marquette Bank, where he will continue to focus on serving the Chicagoland market. As an alumnus of the University of Illinois – Chicago and a longtime lender at the former Royal Savings Bank, Chicago, Nichols has a deep understanding of business banking in Chicagoland.

RMK Management Corp. has been named property manager for HQ Residences in downtown Mount Prospect, Ill., a new rental community in the Chicago suburb from developer Harlem Irving Companies along with Hamilton Partners and T2. Located at 122 E. Northwest Highway, across from the Mount Prospect Metra station, the 87-unit, six-story property includes 81 apartments, six rental townhomes and 3,500 square feet of first-floor retail space. 

Kiser Group announced the promotion of Jake Parker from Director to Senior Director. Over the last eight years, Jake has risen from an analyst role to become a key leader within the firm, making a lasting impact on Kiser Group’s success. Jake has specialized in multifamily sales and condominium deconversions, particularly on Chicago’s North Side, where he works alongside his partner of five years, Andy Friedman.

Farbman Group has added three new team members to the firm. Bonnie Liu joins as a project manager, Chris Newsome joins as a senior staff accountant, and Jeannie Buettner joins as an administrative assistant and assistant property manager.
