Cresa announced that it has re-entered the Minneapolis market, establishing a presence where it has a history of brokerage and longstanding client relationships. Cresa has tapped local veteran commercial real estate executive Dan Lofgren, SIOR, as managing principal to activate the new office, which will offer occupier-focused office and industrial services. The return to the Twin Cities reflects a larger corporate strategy of investing in targeted growth markets across the U.S.
Greenstone Partners has promoted Alexander Tychalski and Charlie Vietzen to investment associates, recognizing their continued growth, contributions and expanding roles within the firm’s investment sales platform. In his new role, Tychalski will focus on multifamily properties throughout the Chicago MSA, working alongside Partner Jordan Multack and Greenstone’s broader investment sales team. Vietzen will focus on flex and industrial properties throughout DuPage County and the greater Chicagoland market, working alongside Managing Partner Jason St. John and Greenstone’s broader investment sales team.
Inland Securities Corporation announced the promotion of Dan Gawley, a 12-year Inland veteran, to senior vice president, private capital. In this role, Dan will work alongside Charles Jensen, managing director, western division; Frank Felix, internal wholesaler; and Skylar Gautier, vice president.
Evanston, Illinois.-based Morgante Wilson Architects, Ltd. (MWA), one of the country’s leading residential architecture and interior design firms, announces it has named Renata Buenrostro as its newest partner. Buenrostro, who has served as MWA’s director of architectural interiors since 2017, joined the firm in 2000 as an architectural project manager, a position she held for four years before being promoted to associate of architectural interiors.
Opus announced that Mark Kunkel has joined its capital markets team as senior vice president of capital formation and investment strategy. He reports directly to Pete Conlon, who was named Opus’ chief financial officer and head of capital markets this past April. In his new role, Kunkel is responsible for helping design, execute and scale Opus’ capital formation and investment strategy, serving as the primary bridge between Opus and institutional investor partners.
