29th Street Living, the property management division of 29th Street Capital, announced a significant expansion into third-party property management, bringing cutting-edge technology, personalized service, and market expertise to new clients across the country. 29th Street Living operates in 23 key markets, where it currently manages more than 55 properties, and is well positioned to transition into additional markets with its current operational structure.
Intersect Illinois announced that Evergreen Climate Innovations CEO Michelle Carr and Kirkland & Ellis Partner Brian Wolfe have been appointed to its board of directors. As the latest to join the organization’s growing board, Carr and Wolfe will serve as advisors in Intersect Illinois’ business attraction efforts.
NAI Farbman, the brokerage arm of full-service commercial real estate company Farbman Group, announced today the promotion of Todd Szymczak to executive vice president of investment property sales and business development.
Syska Hennessy Group, the international engineering firm, has appointed three new associate partners in its Chicago office: Jennifer Kuether, PE; Bill Kuzan, PE; and Drew Kuzan, PE, LEED AP. Bill is Drew’s father. “Our business in Chicago and nationally is growing rapidly,” says Clint Moreno, Syska associate principal, who oversees the Chicago office. “Jennifer, Bill, and Drew have the skills, experience, and talent to play an instrumental role in our continued success.”
CORFAC International announced the winners of the 2024 Member Excellence Awards, which recognize individuals who exemplify excellence, integrity, dedication, and participation in the network.
- Thomas B. Hayes Jr. Award: Chris Gerlach, SIOR, Principal of CSA Realty/CORFAC International in Austin, Texas, was recognized with this distinction. Gerlach has taken a strong leadership role with the network’s conference initiatives, currently serving as Chair of CORFAC’s Conference and Professional Development Committee.
- Olen Monsees Award: Mark Childs, SIOR, Principal of Capacity Commercial Group/CORFAC International in Portland, Oregon, is this year’s recipient. Childs is a dedicated member of the network, having serving on many different committees over the years.
- Steven H. Podolsky International Member of the Year Award: Claudia Signo of Aengevelt Immobilien/CORFAC International in Dusseldorf, Germany, is honored with this award. Signo worked tirelessly on the 2024 international summer affiliates meeting in Berlin and has spent countless hours over the years organizing CORFAC’s annual presence at the Expo Real conference in Munich.
