Essex Realty Group is expanding its South Side brokerage team with the addition of Director Jesus Garcia. Garcia joins the Essex South/West Side team and will focus on multi-family investment sales throughout the Southwest Side of Chicago. Prior to joining Essex, Garcia worked at a national brokerage, specializing in mid-market multifamily assets and representing investors across the Chicagoland area.

Colliers appointed Dan Deuter as Vice Chair, adding deep expertise in office capital markets to the firm’s Chicago office. Based in Chicago, Deuter will focus on office capital markets with an emphasis on multi-tenant assets. Prior to joining Colliers, he served as Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield.

Lee & Associates has closed a purchase transaction for a 131,811-square-foot industrial building on 27.8 acres located at 2964 Newburg Road in Belvidere, Illinois. Jeff Galante, SIOR, principal at Lee & Associates’ Illinois office, represented the buyer, NexGen Manufacturing. Al Caruana of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller.

Entre Commercial Realty has finalized a sublease at 6250 Church Rd. in Hanover Park, Illinois. The 30,110-square-foot facility comes fully racked with two docks, two drive-in doors, and a 22’ clear height. Cory Kay, Mike DeSerto, and Elisabeth Lazzara of Entre Commercial Realty represented the subtenant, and CBRE represented the sublandlord.
