The Opus Group announced the promotions of Paul Robertson and Mike Robinson to vice president of real estate development in our Chicago office. Robertson is continuing to source and execute multifamily projects in the Chicago market and will also help lead Opus’ expansion into Charlotte, North Carolina, focusing on identifying, analyzing and underwriting multifamily opportunities. In his new role, Robinson is continuing to lead Opus’ industrial developments in those markets, from sourcing and pursuit through construction, leasing and sale.
T2 Capital Management, a fully integrated, private equity real estate investment firm, announced a new strategic partnership with iCapital, a global fintech platform driving the world’s alternative investment marketplace for the wealth management industry. With this new agreement, T2’s real estate credit strategy will be available on iCapital Marketplace, which connects wealth managers with the broadest selection of alternative investments from the world’s leading asset managers — all on a single platform.
The Art Institute of Chicago announced the election of Eric Lefkofsky, the co-founder of Chicago-based Groupon, as the organization’s new chair of the Board of Trustees. Lefkofsky will succeed Denise Gardner as the leader of the board, the governing body for both the Art Institute of Chicago Museum and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Core Spaces, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager, developer and operator, announced several key appointments to its executive team. Sean Devine joins as Executive Vice President of Property Operations & Experience. Jennifer Holmes has transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Merritt Poole has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Christine Bentley joins as Chief Information Officer. Katy Darnaby has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, and Jourdan Vartabedian joins as Vice President of Leasing & Sales.
Lee & Associates has promoted Grant Bollman to vice president at Lee & Associates of Illinois from senior associate. Bollmna represents office tenants and investors in the acquisition and disposition of office space, with a geographical focus on Chicago’s East-West Corridor. Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Grant was a senior associate at Cawley Chicago.
