Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) has announced the retirement of Jim Rost, vice president of development, marking the conclusion of a distinguished 50-year career in the construction and development industry, including 30 years with NRI. Chris Filby will succeed Rost in the role at the end of May, as announced by Brian J. Ellis, president of NRI. Throughout his career, Rost has been a strong advocate for mentorship and workforce development in the construction industry. As a past president of the Builders’ Exchange of Central Ohio, he championed initiatives that promoted education and industry collaboration.
Industry veteran Tom Hadley has joined JLL’s Indianapolis office as executive vice president within the firm’s office leasing advisory and sale team. In this role, Hadley will help lead JLL’s office advisory capabilities across tenant representation and agency leasing. He’s joined by Sam Garvin, senior associate, who brings rising talent and leadership to support the continued expansion of the JLL team.
McHugh Construction announced three new hires: Eric Engstrom as project executive, Grant Peoples as director of risk management and Amit Patel as project manager. As project executive, Engstrom will lead the delivery of commercial developments for McHugh. In his role as director of risk management, Peoples will oversee strategic risk planning and claims management to help protect McHugh’s projects, teams and operations. As project manager, Patel will oversee project execution and field coordination for McHugh.
Cushman & Wakefield welcomed the addition of Tony Ponzetti as director to its brokerage team in South Bend, Indiana. In this role, Ponzetti will focus on industrial properties tied to manufacturing, distribution, logistics, high-tech facilities, development sites and select agricultural assets across Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.
Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, announced that Kelli Stuart, CPM, ARM, general manager and assistant vice president, received the 2026 Certified Property Manager Excellence Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Chicago chapter. Stuart has been with Draper and Kramer for 14 years and has over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Greenstone Partners promoted Jordan Multack to partner, recognizing his significant production and contributions to the firm’s continued growth and success in the multifamily investment sales sector. Prior to joining Greenstone Partners, Multack developed his brokerage foundation at another nationally recognized commercial real estate firm, refining his underwriting, advisory, and transaction execution skills within the multifamily sector.
