JLL has named Matt Coursen as its new U.S. Healthcare Lead, Leasing Advisory. He now oversees a team of hundreds of healthcare specialists across the United States who represent occupiers, owners and investors of healthcare properties.

CBRE announced that Mark Truesdell has joined the firm’s Cleveland office as Vice President. He will specialize in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial properties throughout the region. Previously, Truesdell served as a Senior Associate at Weston, specializing in assisting clients with market planning, portfolio strategy and transaction delivery. Prior to Weston, he worked in sales with the Cleveland Cavaliers for eight years and has an NBA championship ring from the 2016 season. 

Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas President Maria Bocanegra has joined Intersect Illinois’ board of directors. With an understanding of the role utilities and collaboration between the private and public sectors play in powering economic development, Bocanegra will enhance Intersect’s efforts to attract jobs and investment to Illinois.

Cohen & Co, a tax and accounting firms in the U.S., announced the acquisition of Tassi and Company. Based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Tassi and Company is a boutique accounting and consulting firm providing services tailored to the real estate industry. The transaction, expected to close at the end of March 2025, enhances Cohen & Co’s national real estate service offering and expands the firm’s presence in the Chicago market.
