Farbman Group introduced the expansion of its family of organizations with ClimateGuard Pro, a new temperature and environmental monitoring solution. Farbman has appointed Jordan Valasek, senior vice president and director of property management, to lead ClimateGuard Pro sales. The company started within the Farbman Group-managed portfolio and is expanding beyond the firm’s managed properties into buildings throughout the Midwest.

Friedman Real Estate’s Kellen Duggan recently completed the sale of the 17,000 square foot retail and residential property located at 2500 West Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Friedman represented both the seller and the buyer in this transaction.

RMK Management Corp., one of the Midwest’s largest market-rate apartment management firms, has been named property and leasing manager for two rental properties in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, both of which were recently purchased by Santefort Real Estate Group. The communities, Cobblestone Creek and Fountain Ridge, are both fully occupied.’

Cross Street, a Chicago-based residential real estate firm, has incorporated Peak Properties, a real estate property management company whose portfolio comprises over 9,000 units in neighborhoods throughout Chicago, into its national platform. Including the Peak units under management, Cross Street’s leasing and management portfolio will comprise nearly 12,000 apartments in Chicago, Denver and Cleveland.
