Harrison Street announced an expansion of its global investor relations team with the appointments of Penny Christy as Global Head of Investor Services, and Atsushi Sumitomo as Director of Investor Relations for the firm’s Tokyo office. In the newly created role, Christy leads the investor services function across the Investor Relations team, implementing policies and procedures on a global basis to help maintain best practices. She reports to Geoff Regnery, Global Head of Investor Relations, and Jenna Sheehan, Head of Investor Relations – North America. Sumitomo focuses on deepening relationships with Japanese institutional investors and representing Harrison Street’s global investment strategies, and his appointment builds on the firm’s growing presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Cinnaire has named Katey Forth as Chief Operating Officer, in a strategic leadership appointment, as the organization closed its largest Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) fund to date. The $340 million multi-investor fund will finance 33 developments across 11 states, creating 2,455 affordable housing units for more than 5,400 individuals and generating over $844 million in local economic activity. Forth will oversee Cinnaire’s day-to-day operations, including leadership of the Operations and Information Technology teams.

Greenstone Partners has expanded its brokerage team with the addition of Chris Malay as Director, Investment Sales Broker. Since becoming a licensed broker in 2016, Malay has been involved in over $75 million of multifamily transactions throughout the Chicagoland suburbs, with property sizes ranging from 5 to 100 units. He is most active in suburban west and north Cook County as well as DuPage County, covering communities such as Berwyn, Arlington Heights, Elmhurst, and Wheaton.

JLL has hired Justin Marcoux to oversee the Healthcare Compliance Services team within JLL’s Healthcare Work Dynamics division and provide accreditation support, consulting services and facility management strategies to enhance client maintenance and compliance programs. As the Senior Director of Healthcare Compliance Services, Marcoux will be responsible for the development and implementation of compliance strategies, including creating policies, procedures and tools.
