Chicago-based Glenstar, a national commercial real estate developer, owner and property manager, today announced it has launched Strategic Office Operator Services. To lead this new initiative, the company has named Adam Parritz as director. A ten-year commercial real estate veteran, Parritz most recently served as asset manager at Värde Partners, a global alternative investment firm, where he co-managed a real estate limited partner equity and debt portfolio with a combined value of over $4 billion.
Clayco announced the appointment of Jeff Miller as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective immediately. Miller brings more than two decades of expertise in information technology, cybersecurity, and strategic leadership. Prior to Clayco, Miller served as Chief Information Officer at Quantinuum, where he managed global IT operations and developed a security program for quantum computing.
Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Dave Dabson has joined the firm as senior managing director and will lead Asset Services in the Twin Cities. Dabson will lead the property management team, which includes 180 personnel who oversee a portfolio of 31 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties.
Caleb Williams, the first player selected in the 2024 National Football League draft by the Chicago Bears, has formed 888 Midas, a new partnership that seeks to associate with and capitalize on select alternative investments in private equity, venture capital and real estate. “I’m beyond excited to have 888 Midas working for me and for its expected growth as an investment and advisory entity in the years to come,” said Williams.
Chicago-based Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, a national full-service real estate firm, announced that Kevin Cooky, assistant vice president, regional property manager and revenue manager, has been approved as a member of the Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) board of directors. His term on the CAA board – which is responsible for oversight of the association’s finances, strategic plan, events and programs – goes through the end of 2025.
The Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) has also appointed Adnan Darr to its Board of Directors. Darr is the Vice President of Client Success at Valcre, a provider of appraisal software solutions for the real estate industry. Prior to Valcre, Adnan previously served on the CAA Board while he was the Global Vice President of Customer Success Operations at VTS.
