Chicago-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Greenstone Partners announced the addition of two experienced assets to its team. Senior Marketing Manager Jessica Langner and Graphic Designer Hannah Hudelson joined the organization, bringing robust and enhanced marketing support. Additionally, Trevor Allen has been promoted to senior investment analyst, and the firm also welcomed five new summer investment analyst interns.

Intersect Illinois announced Preeti Chalsani, PhD, as its inaugural Chief Quantum Officer, a new position created to reflect the state’s commitment to cementing Illinois as the capital for quantum technologies. As Chief Quantum Officer, Chalsani will be responsible for working closely with leaders within Illinois’ science, technology, innovation, government and economic development ecosystem to lead all business development efforts related to quantum.

Berkadia has welcomed Managing Director Rob Starrett, who will be based out of Cleveland, Ohio. Starrett will report to SVP – Co-Head of Investment Sales and Production Operations Mike Miner.  Starrett brings over fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate and has a wide range of experiences in a variety of asset types, including institutional new construction, value-add, and affordable housing. He has managed over $3 billion in dispositions, financing, and equity transactions throughout his career.

Lee & Associates Asset Management (LAM) has hired Ryan Freed as executive vice president. Chicago-based LAM is the independently owned asset management arm of Lee & Associates. Freed comes to the role with more than 15 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker, most recently as vice president within Lee & Associates of Illinois’ office brokerage team. Freed will play a pivotal role in growing the portfolio across asset classes while also ensuring the efficient delivery of property and facility management, accounting, leasing and administration services.
