Newmark has hired Keely Polczynski, a respected retail investment sales professional with more than 20 years of experience, to its U.S. Retail Capital Markets practice group as senior managing director. Polczynski, who will sit in Chicago, has generated sales surpassing $6.5 billion over her career. Polczynski joined from JLL, and prior to joining that company, she spent nearly 20 years at CBRE, ending her tenure there consistently ranking among the top 10% of producers nationally.
Greystone announced that Jason Brown has joined the firm as a managing director. Based in the Indianapolis market, Brown will focus on providing multifamily financing solutions across Greystone’s broad range of debt platforms, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA, bridge, and CMBS, and debt & equity placement services.
Hiffman National has appointed Gannon O’Brien to the role of director of property management services, effective Feb. 10. In this role, O’Brien will focus primarily on further expanding the firm’s portfolio of office properties under management in downtown and suburban Chicago, as well as Houston, Dallas, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Columbus, Charlotte, Tampa, and Orlando.
Jim Becker and Matt Buslepp have joined CBRE’s Detroit office as senior vice president and first vice president, respectively. The pair will partner and focus on office occupier representation throughout the region. Becker comes to CBRE with over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, while Buslepp has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate.
Colliers announced the expansion of its brokerage services to Iowa with the addition of Mark Mills who is joining Colliers as Vice President and who will be the primary contact for its brokerage business in Iowa. Mills will report to Jeremy Jacobs, Executive Managing Director, North Central Region & Market Leader, Minneapolis – St. Paul.
Heitman has appointed Scott Barsky as senior vice president in the Client Service & Marketing group. Barksy will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the eastern region of the United States and Canada, focusing on the firm’s private real estate equity, private real estate debt, and public real estate securities strategies.
