JVM Realty (JVM), a Chicago-based vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment and property management firm, has hired Adam Short as the company’s chief investment officer. In his new position, Short will be responsible for managing all aspects related to JVM’s capital needs and structure, including debt and equity.

Bradley Company, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based real estate company, announced the appointment of Carolyn Spake-Leeper, SIOR, as senior broker and managing director, Northeastern IN. She will lead the Fort Wayne team while continuing to grow her brokerage business. With two decades of experience and recently named Indiana’s Commercial Realtor of the Year, Spake-Leeper brings vast expertise to the role and will focus on driving strategic advisory initiatives in northeastern Indiana.

Stage Equity Partners, a real estate investment and management firm specializing in medical office and healthcare-related properties, has appointed Cody Weiss as Director. The appointment was made by Brian Howard, the firm’s founder and principal. Weiss is responsible for guiding new acquisitions, developments, refinances and dispositions, including initial underwriting, financial and property due diligence, and structuring debt and equity components.

Architectural office Valerio Dewalt Train has announced Solverre, a new ground-up residential building in the Uptown neighborhood. Developed by Willow Bridge Property Company, Solverre includes a mix of 303 rental units, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The 335,000-square-foot building includes a podium for the first two floors, housing the lobby, entrance, and a large second-floor parking area with space for 136 cars.

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of two Piggly Wiggly grocery stores in Boscobel and Howards Grove, Wisconsin. The assets collectively sold for $3.2 million. Ben Kohl and Mitchell Kiven, in the firm’s downtown Chicago office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, a private investor based in Madison.
