Choose Chicago CEO and President Lynn Osmond is stepping down later this month. In a statement, she said she was leaving the position to attend to family matters. Osmond was appointed President & CEO of Choose Chicago in March 2022. Rich Gamble will act as interim CEO following Osmond’s departure.

Kenia Rivera of Daniel Management Group (DMG), a Chicago-based real estate firm focused on multifamily investment and management, has been promoted to Senior Regional Property Manager. In this role, Rivera will help manage DMG’s more than 3,000-unit portfolio and continued pipeline growth.

The Connor Group, a national real estate investment firm out of Dayton, Ohio, has promoted Brock Wright to Chief Investment Officer. In this new role, Wright will continue to head the firm’s investor relations department and oversee all property acquisitions and dispositions. He also leads the finance team, which maintains data, analytics, and sub-market-level knowledge.

Akrete, an Evanston, Illinois-headquartered public relations, content development and marketing firm, announced the appointment of Boston-based Nicole Stenclik to the newly created role of president. Stenclik will work closely with founder and CEO Margy Sweeney to lead the agency. Most recently, she has led the firm’s work for clients such as JLL, Steelcase, Unispace, and Kingbird Investment Management.

Rival Holdings, a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based firm, has named David McDonald vice president of mergers and acquisitions. McDonald brings a wealth of industry experience to Rival, most recently as director of private equity for Ambassador Enterprises. In his role at Rival, McDonald will lead M&A activities, driving growth and expansion through strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures.

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) has named Emily Nicoll City Leader for the Minneapolis market. In this role, Nicoll will oversee the operations of the company’s Minneapolis office and drive the growth and success of both the business and the Transwestern brand.
